SCC is moving into a new facility - a place we can call home.  After four years, we are excited to move out of the movie theater and into a building that can be used for ministry seven days a week.  The future "SCC Ministry Center" is a 6049 square-foot building on the corner of Marguerite and Crown Valley Parkway in Mission Viejo.

It is this location where we will move from being a “potted plant” to a church with deep roots in our community. The SCC Ministry Center will be a place to host weeknight seminars designed for families and individuals.  A place where hundreds of people can gather on weekends to celebrate and grow in Jesus Christ & His Word.  A place where children and adults can daily discover and become exactly who God has created them to be.

WHO

WHEN
Our plan is to move into the building this fall. Then, during Winter 2009, we will build and prepare our "home" for a Grand Opening on our five-year anniversary, Sunday April 5th 2009. But there are a few financial goals we need to achieve before this can happen.

GOALS

• Phase 1: $20,000 is needed by October 31st to cover security deposits, permits, and move-in expenses.  This is our most immediate and pressing need.
• Phase 2: $40,000 is needed by January 1, 2009 to cover the estimated costs of building improvements such as doors, bathrooms, electrical, etc., as well as costs necessary to receive city permit allowing public assembly.
• Phase 3: $15,000 is needed by March 29th, 2009 for promotion, equipment, and furnishing necessary for Grand Opening.
• Grand total: $75,000 to fully open the Ministry Center in April 2009
