Guest Services teams believe that first impressions make a huge impact. Therefore, these teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for every guest at South County Church. From setting up for service or directing you to a parking space to selling you the newest sermon CD, our Guest Services teams strive to get your attention and set the stage for what's coming. Greeting Team If you've never met a stranger, this team is for you. Greeters are energetic, talkative, and friendly. The Greeting Team actively demonstrates God's love with every smile and hello they give on Sundays. Time Commitment: 45 minutes before and 10 minutes after a service, every week or every other week. Age Requirement: 12 years old. Information Team This team is known for their well organized, outgoing, quick-thinking personalities. The purpose of the Information Team is to provide details about SCC to the guests at each service. From overseeing sign-ups to answering questions about LifeLinks and volunteer teams, the Information Team is a multifaceted area of service Time Commitment: 45 minutes before and 10 minutes after a service, every week or every other week. Age Requirement: 16 years old. Resource Center Team The Resource Center Team is responsible for selling SCC T-shirts, sermon CDs, books, stickers, etc. This group provides guests with SCC merchandise in a friendly, efficient manner. Time Commitment: 45 minutes before and 10 minutes after a service, every week or every other week. Age Requirement: 16 years old. Hospitality Team Hospitality Team members make the SCC volunteer experience incredible for all. They set up, replenish, and keep various food and beverage choices looking delicious. Whether brewing coffee or cutting muffins, these volunteers have smiles on their faces and love making our facilities a little more inviting. Time Commitment: 45 minutes on Sunday, every week or every other week. Age Requirement: 12 years old. Usher Team The Usher Team exists to make sure that everyone present experiences a distraction-free service. The ushers guide people to the nearest available seat in a quick and orderly fashion. It is their goal to express the love of Christ through their willingness to help our guests find the perfect seat. The ushers then take up the offering at the end of the service. Time Commitment: 45 minutes before a service and the last 5 minutes of the service, every week or every other week. Age Requirement: 18 years old.
