Our Vision [Psalm 1:3 & Jeremiah 17:8] Imagine SCC as an avocado tree: A healthy avocado tree, planted in fertile soil, drawing water from its deep root system produces protein rich fruit. That fruit provides nourishment for hungry people. When the seeds of that fruit are planted it reproduces new trees
The tree represents the community of SCC. The soil represents the environment and commitment to God's Word. The water represents the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. The fruit represents people becoming who God has created them to be. The seed represents the heart to reproduce the ministry of Jesus Christ. New trees represent new churches.
Our Mission Believing that every person is a unique creation of God fuels SCC to be a community of faith that leads people to discover and become exactly who God has created them to be. People have not been created to be religious; rather each person has been created to be a fruitful, productive follower of Jesus Christ.
