Where we were... In April 2004, 20 individuals with a passion for God and a love for people invited the communities of South Orange County to join them in the Edwards Theater at Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo, CA. At this first gathering the lead pastor, Kelly Fellows, shared the vision of committed followers of Jesus Christ who would lead people to discover and become exactly who God has created them to be. Where we are... Since the first gathering, South County Church has added dozens of families. Weekly, people encourage each other to grow in faith and commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word. Through LifeLinks, daily Bible journaling, and Weekend gatherings this community of faith is becoming exactly who God has created them to be. Where we are going... Just like a healthy, growing tree produces fruit and then reproduces more trees - SCC is committed to being a healthy, reproducing church. As people discover exactly who God has created them to be, they will be given a variety of opportunities to realize the God given dreams and possibilities that He has in store for all those who call him Lord. Our desire is that SCC would send teams of healthy "plants," sharing the message of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, throughout all Orange County - California - The United States - Globally.
